Outcomes:

The Global Government Summit 2025 will deliver transformative outcomes, paving the way for a more sustainable and equitable future through social innovation:
1. Official Launch of the Global Council for Social Innovation (GCSI)
The summit will mark the formal establishment of the GCSI, a global government alliance dedicated to defining and advancing a clear, actionable strategy to accelerate global social impact. (Draft strategy available)
2. Adoption of the Luxembourg Accord: Shaping the Future of Social Innovation
Participating governments will identify key policy recommendations and commit to concrete actions aligned with the summit’s goals. This collaborative accord will serve as a roadmap to drive social innovation forward. (Draft accord available)
3. Pathway to the 2026 Revision of the UN Resolution
Building on the achievements of the Social and Solidarity Economy movement, the summit will outline a pathway to inform and shape the 2026 revision of the UN Resolution, ensuring its alignment with global priorities.
This inaugural summit will lay the groundwork for a transformative transition to a people- and planet-centred economy. By combining collective expertise, resources, and commitment, we aim to foster systemic change—creating a future where social innovation drives a more inclusive, resilient, and just global economy.
